Daria Kasatkina secured a first WTA Tour title victory with a dominant 6-3 6-1 victory over Jelena Ostapenko at the Volvo Car Open final.
In an all-teenage final in Charleston, it was Kasatkina that took home the title after defeating her Latvian opponent in little over an hour on the green clay at the WTA Premier event.
Kasatkina consequently joins a notable list of teenagers to win the event, with Tracy Austin, Steffi Graf and Martina Hingis among those to have previously triumphed before turning 20.
The Russian, 19, was playing in her first WTA decider and forged ahead in game five before immediately handing the break back.
However, Ostapenko did not win another game in the set and things did not improve for her in the second as Kastkina won five straight games from 1-1 to secure an emphatic win.
