Spieth tees off with comeback king Brady ahead of Masters redemption bid
Tom Brady knows plenty about redemption stories, so it was fitting that Jordan Spieth teed off with the New England Patriots quarterback at the scene of his Masters meltdown.
Ahead of his bid for a second green jacket next week, Spieth went round Augusta with five-time Super Bowl champion Brady.
The duo posed for a picture at the 12th, the hole that saw Spieth find the water twice as he surrendered a five-shot lead to hand the Masters title to Danny Willett.
Brady surely had plenty of tips to offer Spieth about how to respond to adversity, himself having led the Patriots to the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history as New England recovered from 28-3 down to beat the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in overtime in Super Bowl LI in February.
But Brady clearly did not emerge victorious on this occasion, commenting in an Instagram post that trying to beat Spieth was like trying arm wrestle WWE superstar The Rock.
