The Washington Redskins signed receiver Terrelle Pryor to a one-year deal, the team announced on Friday.
Pryor, a former quarterback, joins a Washington team that needed a playmaking receiver this offseason.
The Redskins lost their top two wideouts - DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon - to free agency, and were left with mostly unproven players.
Pryor should add some help as he showed off his talent last season in Cleveland with a revolving door at quarterback.
In his first true season as a receiver, Pryor caught 77 passes for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns.
He could have continued to develop in Cleveland at the same price point (over more years), but wanted a one-year deal in order to prove himself and hopefully cash in big the following offseason instead.
