AS Monaco and Iberostar Tenerife were among the sides to reach the Basketball Champions League last eight on Wednesday.
Monaco were trailing by just a point against AEK heading into the return leg in their home arena and prevailed 95-87 to advance on aggregate.
Tenerife overcame a similarly narrow deficit, turning around their 66-63 first-leg loss to PAOK with a resounding 80-54 success. Lithuania's Marius Grigonis starred for the Spanish side with 20 points.
Meanwhile, Pinar Karsiyaka won 90-83 at Besiktas as they sealed a 12-point win over the two matches, while Neptunas Klaipeda's 58-52 victory was not enough as MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg advanced courtesy of their 73-61 first-leg triumph.
In Wednesday's other fixture, Umana Reyer Venezia advanced at the expense of Sidigas Avellino. The draw for the quarter-finals takes place on Friday.
