Lance Armstrong's US Postal Service bill just got bigger

Updated:

Lance Armstrong was able to poke fun at himself even as he faces a potential $100million bill to the US Postal Service (USPS), having been landed with a mail charge of $1.09.

Disgraced former cyclist Armstrong is set to face a huge lawsuit over his admission that all seven of his Tour de France titles had been won while doping.

USPS sponsored Armstrong's team in six of those title wins, at a cost of $32.2m, and is now suing the Texan for damages.

But the 45-year-old was hit with an extra fee after receiving a package in the mail that required an additional payment, and the American seemed to see the funny side as he shared an image with his 80,000-plus Instagram followers.

That moment when you realize @uspostalservice wants 100 mil plus a dollar and 9 cents from you.
