Sosaia Feki has signed a new two-year contract with NRL champions Cronulla Sharks.
The 25-year-old winger was in the final year of his previous deal and the Sharks were eager to extend his stay after he played a key role in their success last season, scoring 13 tries in 24 games.
Feki, who missed the World Club Challenge defeat to Wigan Warriors last weekend due to injury, has now committed to the club until 2019.
"I got [another] two years at the club and I'm looking forward to it," Feki said. "I'm hoping to stay as long as I can."
Valentine Holmes also recently agreed a new deal with the Sharks, who start the defence of their title against Brisbane Broncos next Thursday.
Meanwhile, North Queensland Cowboys on Friday bolstered their squad by bringing in forward Shaun Fensom from Canberra Raiders on a two-year contract.
The Raiders are also set to be without captain Jarrod Croker for the first month of the season due to a dislocated knee.
