Melbourne Storm wing Suliasi Vunivalu re-signed with the NRL club until at least the end of 2018.
Vunivalu, 21, was the equal top try-scorer in the NRL in his debut season in 2016, crossing 23 times in 21 games.
After his meteoric rise, the Fijian recommitted to the Storm, who reached the grand final last season.
"We are thrilled to have Suli recommit to the club for another season," Storm football director Frank Ponissi said.
"He had an outstanding 2016 for a player in his rookie NRL season - not only to finish as the competition's leading try-scorer but to also play in our grand final side.
"Suli is a wonderful athlete and a smart player who is looking forward to the challenge of going into his second season with a focus on continuing to improve his game."
The Storm begin their 2017 season with a clash against the Canterbury Bulldogs on March 3.
