'A bit of Yorkshire' to be included in Willett's Masters menu

Updated:

Danny Willett has revealed there will be a "bit of Yorkshire" on the menu when he hosts this year's Masters Club dinner.

Willett took advantage of a remarkable Jordan Spieth collapse to claim a shock first major triumph at Augusta last April.

As a result, the Englishman will have the honour of selecting the menu for the traditional champions' dinner held on the Tuesday before the tournament.

After opening up a three-shot lead in the third round of the European Tour's Maybank Championship in Malaysia, Willett discussed his plans in an interview broadcast on Sky Sports.

"I still haven't finalised it yet, but I've got a few ideas up my sleeve, just to try and incorporate a bit of everything," said the world number 15.

"A bit of British, a bit of Yorkshire, try and throw something in for the Americans as well so they're not too unhappy with the choices."

Yorkshire pudding, burger and fries, then? We're looking forward to finding out what Danny has in store.
