Conor McGregor has added fuel to the fire that a blockbuster super fight with unbeaten boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr is on the cards by posting a video of himself sparring.
The outspoken Irishman, the first man to hold two belts in different divisions at the same time in UFC, has been involved in a verbal back-and-forth with Mayweather, who has a perfect 49-0 record, over the past few months.
As yet, it has not been possible to agree terms on a bout and UFC president Dana White last week said that there was more chance of him acting as back up to New England Patriots star Tom Brady for the Super Bowl than there is of a fight being made.
But McGregor, who late last year was granted a boxing license to fight in California, has continued to tease a fight and has taken to Instagram to show him working on his boxing skills.
Many consider that McGregor would be a huge outsider to beat Mayweather under boxing rules, but he has not shied from his desire to test his explosive power against the American.
