Uncapped spinner Kuldeep Yadav has replaced the injured Amit Mishra in the India squad for a one-off Test against Bangladesh.
Left-arm chinaman Kuldeep could be handed an international debut in Hyderabad on Thursday after the experienced Mishra was ruled out with a knee injury.
Kuldeep took 2-2 in India A's draw against the Tigers at Gymkhana Ground and also claimed a five-wicket haul in a 50-over defeat to England last month.
The 22-year-old impressed for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League last year and also tormented batsmen in the Duleep Trophy.
Mishra damaged his knee in the field during a Twenty20 victory over England last week which sealed a 2-1 series win.
