Steve Kerr's latest in-game outburst has resulted in a $25,000 fine, the NBA announced on Monday.
The Golden State Warriors head coach was fined by the NBA for "verbal abuse of game officials and failing to leave the court in a timely manner after his ejection" during Saturday's 109-106 overtime loss to the Sacramento Kings.
Kerr was upset with officials during the third quarter following a pair of questionable loose-ball fouls called on Warriors forward Kevon Looney.
"I got what I deserved. I deserved to be ejected -- so I was. I have no complaints,'' Kerr said after the game. "I was angry.''
Looney was whistled for the second time in the span of 20 seconds following a missed layup by Kevin Durant.
That prompted Draymond Green to say something to the referee, who then issued a technical foul to the former.
Kerr proceeded to lose his mind and storm onto the court to confront the official before being issued a technical and dismissed from the game.
