Even the pros want Tiger Woods' autograph

Tiger Woods is a man that transcends sports and many have been left starstruck by the golf great.

That includes, so it seems, fellow professionals with European Tour rookie Marcus Armitage among the autograph hunters on the range ahead of this week's Dubai Desert Classic.

Armitage, who graduated to the European Tour having earned a top-16 spot in the Road to Oman rankings on the Challenge Tour last year, approached the American with a cap to sign at the Emirates Golf Club.

And Woods was happy to oblige the Englishman's request, with the European Tour posting a picture of the moment on Twitter with a caption that read: "When a player asks Tiger for an autograph on the range..."

Woods, a 14-time major champion, is playing a European Tour event for the first time since the 2015 US PGA Championship and is a two-time winner of the tournament in 2006 and 2008.
