Lindsey Vonn suffered another crash as Lara Gut took the honours in the women's downhill in Cortina on Saturday.
Four-time FIS World Cup overall champion Vonn has only recently returned to action from a broken right arm and also crashed out in training on Friday.
She fell again at roughly the same point, but appeared to emerge relatively unscathed, leaving Switzerland's Gut to pick up maximum points.
A time of 1:37.08 saw her edge out Sofia Goggia by just 0.05secs, with downhill table-topper Ilka Stuhec in third.
Hannes Reichelt took victory in the men's event in Garmisch, where Peter Fill's second spot saw him move top of the downhill standings.
He replaced Kjetil Jansrud at the summit after the Norwegian could only manage fifth.
Gut's compatriot Beat Feuz was third.
