Lindsey Vonn escaped without serious injury after a crash in training at Cortina d'Ampezzo on Friday.
The four-time FIS World Cup overall champion has only recently returned to action from a badly broken right arm and crashed into safety netting ahead of Saturday's downhill event.
Though sore, Vonn expects to be fit for action on Saturday, having carried on to the end of the course after getting back to her skis.
"I just caught a lot of air off this jump between the turns and I landed and hit another bump and just went in the fences in a little bit," Vonn said. "But I'm fine.
"I didn't have enough time for the curve.
"My arm hurts a little but it should be alright for the race."
