Bangladesh confirm historic India Test

Bangladesh have confirmed they will play Test cricket in India for the first time next month in a one-off match against Virat Kohli's men in Hyderabad.

The Bangladesh Test side have broken new ground in recent months, securing a huge win over England to tie a two-match series before Shakib Al-Hasan hit a double-century against New Zealand in sharing the highest Bangladeshi partnership with Mushfiqur Rahim.

A second-innings implosion cost them victory in Wellington, but their efforts have not gone unnoticed by Test powerhouses India.

And Bangladesh will make history again when the sides play one Test at the Rajib Gandhi International Stadium, beginning on February 9.
