Mitchell Johnson is considering a return to the Indian Premier League this season after leading Perth Scorchers into the Big Bash League final on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old quick took three wickets and conceded just three runs in four overs in an emphatic seven-wicket victory over Melbourne Stars at the WACA.
Johnson - Australia's fourth highest wicket-taker in Tests - was released by Kings XI Punjab after the 2016 IPL season, but is open to a return to the competition before coming back for the next BBL campaign.
"I will look at the IPL, maybe a couple little tournaments here and there," Johnson told Ten Sport.
"But the Big Bash next year is definitely on the cards.
"I just want to get through this final and play well in that as well.
"He [head coach Justin Langer] keeps it simple for me. He says, 'Go out and bowl quick'."
