Day three of the second Test between New Zealand and Bangladesh was washed out due to heavy rain on Sunday.
Umpires officially abandoned play at the start of the final session without a ball being bowled at Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
Play will resume Monday at 10:30 (local time) to make up for lost time.
The second Test remains evenly poised, with New Zealand 260-7 in response to Bangladesh's first innings total of 289.
Tim Southee and Henry Nicholls are unbeaten at the crease as the Black Caps still trail by 29 runs with three wickets remaining.
Shakib Al Hasan (3-32) and Kamrul Islam Rabbi (2-48) have starred for the tourists.
The Kiwis lead the two-Test series 1-0 following their remarkable seven-wicket victory in Wellington.
