Mike Tyson says he will teach Chris Brown "every dirty trick in the book" after agreeing to train the R&B singer for his celebrity boxing match against rapper Soulja Boy.
Social media beef between the two recording artists escalated to the extent that an exhibition bout has been scheduled for Las Vegas in March.
Soulja Boy already has retired undefeated five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. in his corner and Brown has risen to the challenge by securing the services of Tyson, the former heavyweight world champion.
"So it's confirmed ... I'm training Chris, he chose me as his trainer to take on Soulja Boy," Tyson said in a video posted on Instagram.
News of the high-profile recruitment had already been leaked by rapper 50 Cent, prompting Soulja Boy to reference an infamous 1997 incident, when Tyson bit the ears of opponent Evander Holyfield.
Tyson said: "And Soulja Boy, what the **** you talking about? Only thing I'm going to teach him is to bite somebody's ear? Yeah, that's right, I'm going to teach him every dirty trick in the book to knock you out because I'm not going to teach him how to run."
