Irfan to fly home following death of his mother
Pakistan paceman Mohammad Irfan is to fly home from the tour of Australia following the death of his mother.
Irfan was recalled for the five-match series against the world champions after he was overlooked for the 5-0 whitewash of West Indies.
The 34-year-old's impressive domestic form earned his a place in the squad to take on Australia, but the left-arm quick is set to return to his homeland following his mother's passing.
Pakistan have not named a replacement for Irfan, who has taken 83 ODI wickets at an average of 30.71.
The first game of the series will be played at the Gabba on Friday.
