Pakistan have added veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez to the one-day international squad to face Australia.
The 36-year-old has been given a late call-up after initially being overlooked by the selectors for a five-match series, which starts at the Gabba next Friday.
Hafeez has not played for his country since he was dropped on the tour of England last year, but is in contention to return against the world champions.
A Pakistan Cricket Board statement said: "The selection committee headed by Inzamam-ul-Haq received a request from Pakistan team management comprising coach Mickey Arthur and captain Azhar Ali for sending Mohammad Hafeez to Australia for the ODI series.
"The selection committee has decided to accept the request of the team management and chairman of the PCB has approved the same. Hafeez will join the team shortly as the 16th member in Australia."
The tourists will be out to salvage some pride after they were whitewashed 3-0 in the Test series.
