Twitter, PGA Tour team up for live-streaming from 31 tournaments
More viewing options are on the way for golf fans, as the PGA Tour announced on Thursday that Twitter will live-stream coverage from 31 tournaments in 2017.
Expanding on a partnership that began during the FedEx Cup playoffs last year, the social media platform will provide 60 to 90 minutes of live coverage for a global audience from the Thursday and Friday rounds of many events this year.
A release from the Tour says the live window will include pre-round analysis, interviews, range coverage and competition from the first two holes of each day's marquee groups.
Tournaments to be covered run from the CareerBuilder Challenge, which begins on January 19, through to the Tour Championship in September.
