England coach Eddie Jones backed centre Manu Tuilagi to bounce back from his injury woes.
Tuilagi, 25, will miss the Six Nations and the rest of the Premiership season after suffering a knee injury while playing for Leicester Tigers.
The setback is just the latest of several injury blows for Tuilagi, but Jones urged the 26-time England international to remain upbeat.
"It's disappointing for the kid," he told the Daily Mirror.
"You don't like to see anyone have that run of injuries - and he was just starting to get some of his power back.
"But there's no reason he can't bounce back and be a better player. The advantage is he's still young.
"He's got to rehab now, keep mentally positive and he will be back in the mix - and could play in the World Cup-winning final side. He's got that incredible power which separates him from other players."
