Soulja Boy claims Floyd Mayweather is training him to fight Chris Brown

Updated:

Rapper Soulja Boy and R&B singer Chris Brown have been going at each other on social media for several days, and now a fight has apparently been scheduled to take place in March in Las Vegas.

Soulja Boy posted a photo to Instagram with a caption claiming to have legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather in his corner.

Mayweather also posted the photo to Instagram, which appears to validate the claim.

Brown posted a video on Thursday in which he said: "All jokes aside ... if we're going to set up this fight, it needs to be professional."

The 27-year-old, who told Soulja Boy to leave his daughter out of their beef, was the first to initiate the fighting talk, and he has boxer Adrien Broner on his side.
