Dwayne Bravo has hailed his surgery a success after undergoing treatment for a hamstring injury that ended his Big Bash League campaign with the Melbourne Renegades.
Bravo, 33, suffered the injury during his side's thrilling four-wicket loss to Perth Scorchers at Etihad Stadium on Thursday.
Renegades subsequently confirmed the need for surgery and that they would be considering their replacement player options.
Bravo tweeted on Tuesday that his surgery had gone well and expressed his hope for a speedy recovery.
"Thankful for a successful surgery. On the road to recovery. Thanks everyone for the love and support," he posted.
