Bill Belichick reaches rare coaching milestone

Updated:

Bill Belichick earned career win number 200 with New England in the NFL on Saturday in the Patriots' 41-3 drubbing of the New York Jets.

That puts Belichick, 64, in the company of George Halas, Don Shula, Tom Landry and Curly Lambeau as the only coaches with 200 victories for one team.

In his 17th season with New England, Belichick has had only two campaigns with fewer than double-digit wins.

For the record, Belichick is 200-71 record with the Patriots, including four Super Bowl championships and six total AFC titles.

Belichick 236-115 overall after spending the first five seasons of his coaching career with the Cleveland Browns.
