Alan Pardew has been sacked as manager of Crystal Palace, but it's possible we won't know what we've lost until it's gone.
Will the Premier League be haunted by the ghost of Christmas Pards?
1. 'Pards' training top
Straight in with a Pardew classic - if aliens were to arrive on Earth and ask what he was like, we'd show them this picture of Pards.
Not content with a simple training jacket, some Premier League managers like to have their initials across the chest - fair dues. You don't get your nickname though.
Alan did, and we have to say, it suits him.
2. Headbutting David Meyler
Very possibly the most embarrassing moment of Pardew's career to date, headbutting a member of the opposition is a bad thing.
Newcastle were 3-1 up when David Meyler pushed the Magpies' manager to take a throw in, and Pardew didn't take kindly to it. He pursued Meyler, thrust his head forward, and the rest is history - (history being £160,000 in total fines and a seven-game ban).
There's not much more to say than that. A football manager headbutted a footballer - how very Premier League.
3. That dance
When Jason Puncheon put Crystal Palace 1-0 up against Manchester United in 78th minute of the 2016 FA Cup final, Pardew probably thought that was the winner. Any football fan knows that 12 minutes of normal time is an eternity to hang onto a lead, though.
Pardew went for it though, blowing the dust off some vintage 1980s disco moves and wowing fans and pundits alike. It was just so... hypnotic.
But the last dance went to outgoing Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal, whose side equalised before notching the winner in extra time. Pardew's once celebratory jive is now nothing more than a gif for the ages.
4. On Pellegrini
In a sweary turn of events, Pards was reported to have called Manchester City's Chilean manager "a fucking old c***" during a 2-0 defeat to the Manchester side in 2014.
The result sent the Magpies to their fourth successive defeat, while City went to the top of the league. Pardew was apparently already upset that Cheik Tiote's 'equaliser' had been ruled out for an offside infringement before he became abusive.
Dodgy offside calls are irritating Alan, but there's no need for that.
5. Pards in porn
Someone created a Twitter account, and edited Pards into pictures of pornography. It is what it is, but somehow it could only happen to him.
6. Fight with Wenger
And last but not least, perhaps Pardew's most famous managerial bust up.
The altercation with Arsene Wenger came when Marlon Harewood snatched a late winner for West Ham against the Gunners, and Le Prof took offence when Pardew celebrated. A few pushes were exchanged, and in all likelihood, a few words as well.
The pair's relationship has since simmered, and all has been forgotten, although we doubt the pair exchange Christmas cards this time of year.
