Ravindra Jadeja's heroics with the ball in the fifth Test against England have seen him move into second place behind India team-mate Ravichandran Ashwin in the ICC rankings.
Jadeja put England in a spin on the final day in Chennai as he claimed career-best Test figures of 7-48 to complete an innings-and-75-run victory and a 4-0 series triumph.
That took his total for the match to 10 wickets, and 26 for the series - only two behind lead spinner Ashwin.
As a result Jadeja moves within eight points of Ashwin at the top of the Test bowling rankings, only the second time two Indian players have occupied the first two spots.
India skipper Virat Kohli remains second in the batting rankings after being named man of the series, the 28-year-old sitting 43 points behind Australia counterpart Steve Smith.
KL Rahul and Karun Nair both reached career-best positions after their stunning knocks in Chennai, Rahul hitting 199 while Nair plundered an unbeaten 303 in only his third Test innings.
