Although by no means a classic Merseyside derby, Everton and Liverpool's latest clash did have its share of feisty tackles.
The worst came from Toffees midfielder Ross Barkley on his England counterpart Jordan Henderson - it was not good.
As late tackles go, this one had clearly misplaced its watch.
It was a miracle the England international was still on the pitch, as opposed to being red carded for the challenge.
Henderson was fortunate not to have been more seriously hurt.
But with a few incidents delaying the game, there was plenty of injury time to be had...
...and Liverpool managed to find a winner.
At the final whistle, both players put the incident behind them.
But both were fortunate that the tackle's consequences weren't as serious as they could have been.
