Broncos corner Talib vows to fight Douglas over 'dirty play' on Harris

Updated:

Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib has made a vow to fight Harry Douglas following the Tennessee Titans wide receiver's low block on Chris Harris Jr, who was incensed by what he felt was an attempt to end his career.

Talib got into a fight with Douglas after the wideout dove at the knees of Harris in the Titans' 13-10 win over the Broncos on Sunday.

And Talib pledged to resume the skirmish with Douglas, with whom he shares an agent.

"It was a dirty play by a sorry player," Talib told reporters. "He didn't do nothing coming into this game. He didn't catch no passes. He comes into this game and chops guys in the back.

"He got the same agent as me so when I see his ass in Atlanta I'm going to beat his ass. He tried to do something dirty so that's why I'm going to beat his ass."

Harris left the game briefly, but did return, and he too was highly critical of Douglas' actions.

"That was so illegal," Harris said. "I have never had a player try to end my career like that. That was dirty and he should be fined. That's not football. He tried to take me out of the game and tried to end my career. That's not football."

Douglas quick to defend himself, saying: "I'm a tough player, I'm a gritty player. I'm not a dirty player no matter what anybody says."
