Jamie Vardy scored a hat-trick and everyone was saying the same thing

Jamie Vardy made his name in last season's unlikely title win for Leicester but had gone off the boil in recent months and not scored for 10 league games - but he's picked a pretty special game to return to goalscoring form.

With a hat-trick the 29-year-old helped carry the Foxes to a 4-2 victory over Pep Guardiola's Manchester City - not an easy task.

With an electric performance and a match ball to boot, fans everywhere were saying the same thing...

We think the club's biggest fan may have had a little rush of blood to the head though...

At 18 points behind current leaders Arsenal, you may be getting ahead of yourself there, Gary.

It was a wonderful performance though, with Leicester dispatching Manchester's big spenders - the sky blue ones, not the red ones - with as little as 22% possession, according to the BBC's match statistics. Claudio Ranieri must have been pretty pleased...

Maybe Vardy's glut of goals isn't too surprising though today, as it was a record-breaking day for scoring in the Premier League.
