Tiger Woods' return to competitive golf after over 15 months out through injury has excited golf fans across the globe, but Gary Player is perhaps not as enthusiastic as others.
Woods has been out of action since August 2015 having undergone two surgeries on a troublesome back injury, but was back at the tee at the Hero World Challenge on Thursday.
The 14-time major winner's return has already become the focal point of the competition, with colleague and world number 31 Daniel Berger expressing his exhilaration on Twitter.
"Anyone else pumped to see the greatest of all time tee it up today? I know I am," he posted.
Player, one of only five players to complete the career Grand Slam in the Masters era, however, dampened the sense of celebration somewhat.
The South African made no attempt to hide his differing opinion, suggesting he still rates 18-time major winner Jack Nicklaus ahead of Woods.
He replied: "Really? I did not know @jacknicklaus was playing this week."
