Watt donates $10,000 to high school player in coma

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt has donated $10,000 to a local high school football player who is in a coma after suffering a brain injury.

Grant Milton was rushed to the hospital and needed emergency surgery after sustaining a head injury in a playoff game for The Woodlands High School in Texas on Saturday.

A crowdfunding page has since been started to help Milton's family with medical costs and living expenses, with Watt donating to the cause and promoting the appeal on his Twitter account.

"If there's anything that I can do to help, please let me know. Sending my best wishes to Grant and the entire Milton family," Watt wrote in a message with his donation.
