Nico Rosberg has vowed that his Formula One title showdown with Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton will culminate in a clean race at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Rosberg leads Hamilton by 12 points heading to the Yas Marina circuit and will secure a first driver's title if he finishes on the podium.
Hamilton has won the last three races, with Rosberg fighting the Red Bulls of Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen to keep his destiny in his own hands.
Of course, Rosberg will be crowned champion if the Silver Arrows fail to finish the race, but the German says he will not follow in the footsteps of Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher, who both won titles thanks to notorious crashes in their careers.
"It's going to be a weekend like any other where I'm going for the race win and doing whatever it takes to get that," Rosberg said before filling a pregnant pause, thus: "Within the limits of what is acceptable."
