Banned Parisse to miss Tonga clash

Italy will be without skipper Sergio Parisse for Saturday's Test match against Tonga in Padova, after the Stade Francais forward received a three-week suspension.

Parisse was punished on Wednesday by a Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) disciplinary committee, who found him guilty of kicking an opponent in a Top 14 fixture against Bordeaux-Begles on November 5.

As a result, Italy's most-capped player - who led his country to a famous victory over South Africa last weekend - will not be available for the meeting with Tonga.

Parisse will also miss Stade's meeting with Bayonne on December 3.
