Pampling still leads in Las Vegas

Rod Pampling holds a one-shot lead at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open after the second round was suspended.

Pampling followed up his stunning opening-round 60 with a three-under 68 to move to 14 under.

The Australian is a shot clear of Brooks Koepka (67) as darkness again brought an early end to proceedings at TPC at Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday.

Pampling mixed six birdies with three bogeys in his second round.

Aaron Wise is seemingly the biggest threat, sitting at 12 under through 14 holes in his second round.

The American started his round incredibly well, making two eagles and three birdies - and a bogey - on his first seven holes.

He is the only player in the top 20 yet to finish his round.

Chris Kirk continued his consistent showing with a six-under 65 to be at 11 under and outright fourth.

A shot behind him are James Hahn (66), Keegan Bradley (65) and Pat Perez (66).

Brian Harman surged into a tie for eighth with an eight-under 63, and he is joined by Sean O'Hair (66), Lucas Glover (65) and Matt Jones (68).

Defending champion Smylie Kaufman moved into four under and into a tie for 48th.
