Brice Dulin has replaced Maxime Medard in the France squad after the Toulouse full-back was unable to train due to a thigh injury.
Medard damaged his left thigh during Saturday's Top 14 win at Pau, but reported for international duty ahead of Les Bleus' November internationals.
France head coach Guy Noves has opted to draft in Racing Metro's Dulin with Medard ruled out after undergoing further tests.
Dulin has won 24 caps for his country, the last of which came when he started on the wing in a 62-13 Rugby World Cup quarter-final hammering by New Zealand in Cardiff in 13 months ago.
Les Bleus face Samoa in Medard's home city of Toulouse on November 12 before taking on Australia and world champions the All Blacks.
