OIivier Giroud was the definition of a super sub as Arsenal piled misery on Sunderland

Well, Olivier Giroud made quite the impact in Arsenal's game against Sunderland, didn't he?

(Owen Humphreys/PA)

Not only did he come on to the pitch in the 69th minute to net his first goal of the season, and put Arsenal ahead again after Sunderland's first-half penalty, he scored from his first touch.

Oh, and he struck twice within five minutes, killing off any hopes Sunderland had of making a comeback.

Arsenal now top the table, and Twitter's bursting with love for the Frenchman after his performance.

Like, a lot of love.

Things only got better for the Gunners, when Alexis Sanchez also helped himself to a second goal.

Yep, it was a chaotic seven minutes, as Sanchez nimbly converted from close range to make the score 4-1, and complete a miserable afternoon for Sunderland.
