Man United v Burnley: Fans found Jose Mourinho fuming in the stands more entertaining than football

It wasn't what Jose Mourinho wanted at Old Trafford.

Not only did Manchester United record a disappointing 0-0 draw against Burnley, the Red Devils boss left the dugout fuming in the first half of the game after referee Mark Clattenburg didn't award a penalty in his favour.

Mourinho was furious that Matteo Darmian did not win a penalty when Jon Flanagan came across and it appeared his ire may have resulted in him being made to take up his new vantage point.

But Twitter, on the other hand, found the whole thing hilarious:

Mourinho was reportedly seen writing down instructions on paper and passing them down to the United bench.

Again, everyone found this to be amusing:

The second half restarted with United's manager curiously sat in the front row of the stand, next to the dugout, and he eventually ventured further back to take up a spot in the directors' box for the bulk of the second period.

Twitter users got their kicks from the fact that Mourinho was unable to settle on a seat:

Even Gary Lineker couldn't resist throwing some shade:

Poor Mourinho.
