The Washington Nationals could be without Stephen Strasburg for the entire postseason.
Strasburg has been on the disabled list since September 7 with a strained flexor mass in his pitching arm. He started the season 12-0 and finished the regular season 15-4 with a 3.60 ERA.
"Well, you won't see [Strasburg] in the first series, and I don't even know if you'll see him, you know, maybe in the second series," manager Dusty Baker said on ESPN Radio. "You might see him in the World Series."
The Nationals face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Division Series, which begins on Friday. Max Scherzer will be up against Clayton Kershaw on the mound in Game 1.
