Rose dons gold medal at Barclays
Justin Rose was nowhere near the top of the leaderboard when he finished his final round of The Barclays but he made sure everyone envied him before walking off the course by donning his Olympic gold medal.
The Englishman, who won gold in Rio two weeks ago, placed the shimmering medal around his neck to tap in his final putt of the first leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs.
Playing alongside Phil Mickelson, Rose shot an even-par 71 with three birdies on his last six holes to finish at even for the tournament.
Rose struggled on Bethpage Black's slick greens this week, but he is still in contention to hoist the FedEx Cup in Atlanta next month.
