Great Britain enjoyed another successful day on day 11, winning a combined nine more medals, with gold flowing on the track and in the sailing.
Britain's Giles Scott sealed his gold medal in sailing's Finn class on Tuesday, Britain's fifth consecutive Olympic victory in the competition.
Trott and Kenny added two of those nine medals, and in total the pair boast 10 Olympic golds and one silver (which Kenny won after losing out to Great Britain's Sir Chris Hoy in the sprint event at Beijing 2008).
But, of course, in very British fashion, the fans are most enamoured by the low-key nature of our dominant champions.
Environmentally conscious Olympic champions? Trott and Kenny are truly our heroes.
