Jarryd Hayne is set to make his Gold Coast Titans debut on Sunday, just days after signing a marquee deal with the NRL outfit.
Hayne, 28, penned a multi-million two-year deal with the Titans during the week.
The former Parramatta Eels star will be put straight into the action, expected to come off the bench when the Titans host the eighth-placed Warriors on Sunday.
"We'll keep it simple, he's not expected to go out there and run the show," Titans coach Neil Henry said on Saturday.
"He wants to play footy. That was the main attraction of being able to come to our club, that he could play football this year.
"I just want him to link the ball, have a couple of runs and make his tackles really."
It will be Hayne's first game of rugby league since September 2014, having left the Eels to sign for the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL.
