England fans have been calling out for something new - and it seems like that something new is going to be Sam Allardyce.
The 61-year-old Sunderland boss is in talks with the Football Association to take over from Roy Hodgson after England's Euro 2016 disaster and is the odds-on favourite with the bookies.
Reaction among England fans has been, at best, mixed.
The man once accused of playing "football from the 19th century" by Jose Mourinho has never won a major trophy.
He has achieved reasonable results in difficult circumstances though, notably with Sunderland and Bolton.
And for some people it seems that's enough.
Let's be honest though - whether you're for or against Big Sam, the thought of him as England manager is pretty funny.
Maybe with the England job he's not aiming high enough.
