Premier League rumours: Jose Mourinho keen on Manchester United role for Rio Ferdinand

Jose Mourinho wants to add former Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand to his backroom team at Old Trafford while the Portuguese is eager to snap up 17-year-old West Ham starlet Reece Oxford, claims The Sun.

Mourinho, meanwhile, is plotting a £54 million deal to sign Atletico Madrid's Saul Niguez, despite the 21-year-old recently signing a new deal with the Spanish giants, reports the Daily Star.
