Tony Bellew did three things to impress boxing fans during his bout against Ilunga Makabu.
First of all, he got up off the canvas to knock out his Congolese opponent in the third round and claim the WBC world cruiserweight title at Goodison Park.
Then, in his moment of triumph, the Everton fan went out of his way to check his opponent was okay and tell him how much he respects him.
And then, best of all, he gave a delightfully sweary interview live on TV in which he called out David Haye and laid into promoter Frank Warren.
The Sky commentators thoughtfully apologised for the language, but it was probably unnecessary. These are boxing fans, after all.
