Everyone wants to believe the Mayweather-McGregor fight is real, but it probably isn't... is it?
When reports emerged on Friday that Floyd Mayweather jnr and Conor McGregor were on the brink of agreeing a "billion-dollar fight", the only certainty was that everyone in the fight game was going to talk about it.
It's pretty hard not to get excited by the prospect of both men in the same ring. It's also pretty hard to imagine both men getting into the same ring... or octagon.
And that's where the problem in the report lay for most fans - while they're both superb athletes they fight in two very different sports.
Twitter, though, couldn't help but drool over the prospect of a fight that would surely break box-office records.
We might not be fully convinced, but when there's so much money at stake, well then...
The more you think about it the more you can convince yourself it could happen.
McGregor and Mayweather have built up a feud over the past couple of months, shooting barbs at each other via the media. That and the money would be ridiculous.
Mayweather is in retirement but he is one win away from a 50-0 record that has never been achieved... oh, and the money would be ridiculous.
McGregor has been outspoken against the UFC top brass recently - highlighted by him retiring and then un-retiring last month... yeah, and the money would be ridiculous.
Mayweather's nickname is Money after all!
We've not heard the last of this.
