Wales prop Tomas Francis has been cited after for allegedly making contact with Dan Cole's eye during England's 25-21 Six Nations victory at Twickenham on Saturday.
Francis was lectured by referee Craig Joubert late in the game after an incident which resulted in England prop Cole being yellow carded.
England head coach Eddie Jones accused Francis of putting a finger in Cole's eye and called for action to be taken against the Exeter Chiefs man.
Wales boss Warren Gatland said a replay of the incident "didn't look great" and it was confirmed on Sunday that Francis will face a disciplinary hearing next week.
England back-row forward James Haskell has been issued with a warning for a dangerous neck roll tackle in the same game.
Scotland's victory over France on Sunday ensured England were crowned Six Nations champions and they can seal a first Grand Slam in 13 years by beating Les Bleus in Paris next Saturday.
