Wales prop Aaron Jarvis will leave Ospreys to join Top 14 high-fliers Clermont Auvergne on a two-year contract at the end of the season.
Jarvis joined the region from Bath in 2011 and has made 86 appearances for the Swansea-based Pro12 side.
The 29-year-old has now opted to take on a new challenge in France, which would appear to hinder his chances of adding to the 16 caps he has won for his country.
Jarvis was included in Wales' Six Nations squad, but with head coach Warren Gatland only able to pick three overseas-based players next season, the tighthead's opportunities to feature at international level could be limited.
Jarvis said: "I've really enjoyed my time with the Ospreys and am proud of everything we've achieved over the last five years.
"There's still a job to do this season though and I'll be giving it everything to ensure I finish on a high before moving on to a fresh challenge with my new club."
