England make two alterations to face unchanged Kiwis

Matty Smith and Jermaine McGillvary have replaced Leroy Cudjoe and Ben Westwood in the England squad to face New Zealand in Saturday's series-decider at the DW Stadium.

Wigan Warriors half-back Smith could make his first appearance for his country since facing the Kiwis last year after being named in Steve McNamara's 19-man party.

Huddersfield Giants winger McGillvary also gets the nod and Super League's leading try scorer this year will be hoping to make his international debut.

"We have had a great week with our preparation and the players are ready to take on a strong New Zealand side," said McNamara.

"The players are well aware of the importance of the game and the improvements we have to make from our previous matches to give ourselves every chance of beating New Zealand.

"We will have to be at our best to win, but we'll relish the pressure of playing against a quality team in front of a full house at Wigan."

Gerard Beale comes into the squad in place of Tuimoala Lolohea as Kiwis coach Stephen Kearney goes with the same side which levelled the series 1-1 by winning 9-2 at the Olympic Stadium last weekend.

"These lads got the job done last week and it was a good performance from them," says Kearney.

"I didn't feel there was a need to change the team."
