Spice Girl Mel B is reportedly in talks to front her own chat show.

She might be known as Scary Spice but TV executives apparently think people find her approachable and that the singer would be great at getting celebrity guests to tell her their secrets.

A source told the Mirror: “Telly bosses feel her open and approachable nature would put guests at ease – and Mel’s larger-than-life personality would be entertaining viewing.

“A few channels are interested at the moment. She has a good relationship with ITV after she appeared on Piers Morgan, and they feel she would be a good fit for the channel.”

The 44-year-old Say You’ll Be There singer has been a judge on The X Factor and America’s Got Talent, as well as appearing on Keith Lemon’s new ITV2 show Shopping.

Mel has also been very open about her own private life, telling all about her difficult relationship with ex-husband Stephen Belafonte and her fling with Hollywood actor Eddie Murphy.

When she appeared on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories recently, Scary even let slip that she and bandmate Geri Horner had shared a night of passion back in the Spice Girls’ heyday.

However the revelation almost caused a rift among the Too Much singers ahead of their current reunion tour as Horner, 46, denied the story was true.

Mel claimed on the chat show: “She is going to hate me for this because she is all posh in a country house but it wasn’t a ‘thing’, it just happened, we just giggled at it and that was it. We were best friends. It just happened.

She added: “Yeah, and I’ve said it now. She is going to kill me and so is her husband.”

Horner is currently married to Formula One boss Christian Horner.
